antérieurs consacrés à la rotation bilamellaire du tarse, à la méthode de Trabut et à l’évaluation fi nale des
chirurgiens du trichiasis.
Ce manuel est destiné à fournir des informa...tions spécifi ques aux formateurs dans le domaine du trichiasis
trachomateux (TT) à d’autres personnes pour qu’elles puissent pratiquer la chirurgie de l’entropion trichiasis.
Il ne traite pas des autres approches et se divise en deux parties. La première présente les spécifi cités de la
formation des futurs chirurgiens du trichiasis et sert de document de référence. Le formateur peut préférer
que les stagiaires lisent directement le document, utilisent ce manuel comme guide dans le cadre d’une
présentation didactique ou l’exploitent d’autres manières comme aide à la formation. Le manuel contient
des connaissances devant être transmises lors de la formation et une description des compétences devant
être acquises et évaluées pendant la pratique et les sessions de chirurgie. La seconde partie est destinée
UNIQUEMENT aux formateurs des futurs chirurgiens et porte sur la sélection et l’évaluation fi nale des
participants.

Disposer d’une information sanitaire de qualité est une quête
permanente de la DGESS du Ministère de la santé. Le niveau de
qualité des données de routine du système national d’information
sanitaire bien qu’en amélioration ces dernières années demeure une
priorité. Une des cause...s évoquée souvent pour justifier la faible qualité
des données est l’insuffisance de compétence des acteurs chargés de
la collecte et du rapportage des données dans les différentes
structures de soins. L’absence de formation des acteurs sur le SNIS
implique des erreurs de remplissage, de rapportage d’une part et
d’autre part une méconnaissance de l’intérêt des données de qualité
dans la prise de décision. Bien que cette justification soit fondée, on
est à même à se demander si c’est l’unique cause de la faible qualité des données. Certainement
pas. Le sens de la responsabilité et de l’intérêt porté à la qualité des données par les différents
acteurs aux différents niveaux influence la qualité des données. Imaginons un seul instant où chaque
mois, chaque responsable de structure, chaque acteur du SNIS apprécie la complétude, la qualité
d’un certain nombre d’indicateur. Le feedback qui sera fait contribuera à rehausser un tant soit peu la
qualité des données. Nous osons croire que cet exercice sera le quotidien de tout un chacun d’entre
nous. Engageons-nous dès à présent pour la qualité des données. Tout en vous donnant rendezvous au prochain numéro, je réitère mes encouragements à l’ensemble des acteurs du SNIS pour le
travail abattu au quotidien et aux partenaires pour leur soutien inconditionnel à la réalisation de nos

The purpose of this framework is to... establish and promote a common understanding of behavioural competencies and how they should be applied for high-performing and community-centred health emergency programmes. It is intended to support the development of standardized training programmes, professional development and talent acquisition and to enhance the capabilities of public health professionals involved in RCCE. Its goal is to inform the establishment of a skilled, well-trained RCCE workforce that consistently understands and executes the necessary behaviours and activities required to conduct RCCE activities with competence and professionalism.

WHO/Europe has launched a new guide, providing support to countries on how to apply behavioural and cultural insights (BCI) for health. It presents a simple step-wise approach, complemented by a rich collection of detailed considerations, tools and exercises. The guide is the first of its kind, spec...ifically developed for use by public health professionals developing policies, services and communications informed by BCI across health topics.
Some of the most persistent public health challenges involve human behaviour. Using a BCI lens means that health policies, services and communications can be tailored to the needs and circumstances of people and communities, and thereby help combat these challenges. The new Tailoring Health Programmes (THP) guide describes how this can be done.
Building on several topic-specific guides that focused on applying BCI to routine and influenza vaccination and tackling antimicrobial resistance, as well as external evaluations and a rigorous peer-review process, this guide is the result of over a decade of work by WHO/Europe. The THP approach has already been adopted in over 20 countries and has received positive feedback from public health agencies.
“This guide is the culmination of a decade of work involving many colleagues at country, regional and global levels. The guide is our “BCI bible”, guiding our work with and in countries to help tackle persistent health challenges,” said Katrine Bach Habersaat, Regional Advisor for BCI at WHO/Europe.
Karina Godoy, Senior Analyst and National Focal Point for Behavioural Insights at the Public Health Agency of Sweden, who is employing the approach described in the guide across several health projects, comments: “The THP guide is easy to use and at the same time provides detailed guidance and inspiration where needed. We have decided to translate the document into Swedish and use the approach widely”.

La réanimation a pour objectifs de prévenir et de pallier les différentes défaillances
viscérales aiguës. Elle s’adresse aux malades graves et est actuellement considérée
comme un élément normal de l’arsenal thérapeutique. Les médecins et les soignants ont
démontré l’utilité ...de la présence permanente 24 heures/24 et 7 jours/7 auprès des
malades graves d’une équipe hautement spécialisée. Ensemble, ils ont fait progresser les
techniques nécessaires à la prise en charge de ces malades : ventilation mécanique,
épuration extrarénale, surveillance et exploration cardiovasculaires... La réanimation
médicale née sur le terrain hospitalier a obtenu sa reconnaissance universitaire en 1969.
Le champ d’application de la réanimation s’étend à toute la pathologie et en particulier aux malades chirurgicaux. La distinction entre réanimation médicale et réanimation chirurgicale a été nécessaire pour une répartition raisonnable des tâches, surtout en
CHU, et aucunement en raison de connaissances pratiques et théoriques différentes. Cette distinction est obsolète, car il n’y a pas plusieurs façons de faire de la réanimation.
