El presente documento compila cronológicamente la normatividad legal-administrativa de salud, del diario oficial El Peruano y normas internas de la institución, de acuerdo al tema de COVID-19, correspondiente al segundo semestre 2020.
La presente publicación describe las medidas de bioseguridad para disminuir el riesgo de infección por COVID-19 durante la atención estomatológica., así como las actividades y procedimientos del personal que brinda atención estomatológica para disminuir el riesgo de infección por COVID-19.

El presente documento tiene por objeto describir un conjunto mínimo de actividades de vigilancia recomendadas a nivel nacional para detectar y supervisar la prevalencia relativa de las variantes del SRAS-CoV-2 y esbozar un conjunto de actividades pa...ra la caracterización y evaluación del riesgo que plantean estas variantes. También se ofrece un conjunto de indicadores para normalizar la vigilancia y la notificación pública de la circulación de variantes.
El documento está dirigido principalmente a las autoridades de salud pública nacionales y subnacionales y a los socios que apoyan la aplicación de la vigilancia de las variantes del SRAS-CoV-2

Una de las muchas desigualdades de género en el personal sanitario y asistencial que COVID-19 ha puesto de manifiesto es la relativa al ajuste y el diseño de los equipos de protección individual (EPP). La rápida aparición y la escala de COVID-19 condujeron a la escasez de EPP en la mayoría de ...los países, causando infecciones y mortalidad prevenibles entre los trabajadores de la salud y otros en primera línea. A pesar de que la mayoría de los trabajadores sanitarios son mujeres, las especificaciones de fabricación de los EPI médicos suelen estar elaboradas en función del cuerpo masculino y se han registrado muchos casos de EPI no diseñados para el cuerpo de las mujeres. El WGH emprendió un proyecto de investigación global para documentar los retos a los que se enfrentan las trabajadoras sanitarias.

Plan nacional de salud mental 2021-2025
Esta guía pretende orientar a equipos quienes deben intervenir frente a situaciones de suicidio, intentos de suicidio y autolesiones o ante signos de alarma. El abordaje que se recomienda es intersectorial e integral y con un enfoque de derechos, el cual implica tener en cuenta procesos históricos..., de filiación intergeneracionales, estructuras productivas, perspectiva de género, aspectos interculturales y migratorios, entre otros factores. Supone un enfoque amplio de la salud en general y del fenómeno de la violencia autoinfligida, en particular. El mundo se enfrenta a graves consecuencias derivadas de la falta de servicios y tratamientos de salud mental. Todos los países, culturas y comunidades padecen enfermedades mentales y la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS) afirma que el 10% de la carga global de enfermedad está relacionada con... trastornos mentales y neurológicos, así como con el consumo de sustancias. En los países de renta baja y media, más del 75% de las personas con trastornos mentales no reciben ningún tratamiento. En 2020, como resultado de la pandemia mundial, el 93% de los países comunicaron que sus servicios de salud mental se habían detenido o interrumpido (OMS, 2020e). La OMS ha denunciado un incremento del 25% solo en las tasas de depresión y ansiedad durante la pandemia. La Organización para la Cooperación y el Desarrollo Económicos estima que el coste de la depresión y la ansiedad para la economía mundial asciende a 1 billón de dólares estadounidenses al año. Todas las enfermeras tienen una función de prestación de cuidados en materia de salud mental y consumo de sustancias. El CIE aboga firmemente por inversiones en más formación y desarrollo profesional en esta área con el fin de ayudar a las personas y comunidades a lograr el mayor nivel posible de salud, en particular bienestar físico, mental y social.
