Objective: To review research on associations of trauma type with PTSD in the WHO World Mental Health (WMH) surveys, a series of epidemiological surveys that obtained representative data on trauma-specific PTSD.
War Trauma Foundation strengthens mental health care and psychosocial support through capacity building and development and dissemination of expertise through the implementation of programmes in (post) conflict areas. We develop and evaluate new methods in close cooperation with (local) partner orga...nisations ensuring the inclusion of cultural and context aspects as well as long term sustainability. A couple of programmes will always be highlighted on our website.

El Ministerio de Salud a través de la Dirección de Salud Mental, con el apoyo técnico de UNICEF, llevó a cabo el presente estudio que mide la presencia de problemas de salud mental en niñez y adolescencia y los principales factores asociados, en el contexto de la COVID-19. La OMS ha elaborado una definición de caso clínico de la afección posterior a la COVID-19 mediante la metodología Delphi que incluye 12 dominios, disponible para su uso en todos los entornos. Esta primera versión fue elaborada por pacientes, investigadores y otras personas, en representación d...e todas las regiones de la OMS, en el entendimiento de que la definición puede cambiar a medida que surjan nuevas pruebas y siga evolucionando nuestra comprensión de las consecuencias de la COVID-19.
La afección posterior a la COVID-19 se produce en personas con antecedentes de infección probable o confirmada por el CoV-2 del SRAS, normalmente a los 3 meses de la aparición de la COVID-19 con síntomas y que duran al menos 2 meses y no pueden explicarse por un diagnóstico alternativo. Los síntomas más comunes son la fatiga, la dificultad respiratoria y la disfunción cognitiva, pero también otros, y generalmente tienen un impacto en el funcionamiento diario. Los síntomas pueden ser de nueva aparición tras la recuperación inicial de un episodio agudo de COVID-19 o persistir desde la enfermedad inicial. Los síntomas también pueden fluctuar o recaer con el tiempo.

Conférence internationale du Travail (la conférence) en 2021 porterait sur quatre instruments relatifs au travail décent pour les travailleurs du soin et des services à la personne dans une économie en évolution: la convention (no 149) et la recommandation (no 157) sur le personnel infirmier, 1977, la convention (no 189) et la recommandation (no 201) sur les travailleuses et
travailleurs domestiques, 20111 . L’Étude d’ensemble examinerait en profondeur la situation en droit et en pratique des travailleurs du soin et des services à la personne au regard des conventions nos 149 et 189.

Plus de 700 000 personnes perdent la vie par suicide chaque année. La réduction d’un tiers du taux mondial de mortalité par suicide d’ici à 2030 est à la fois un indicateur et une cible (la seule pour la santé mentale) dans les objectifs de développement durable des Nations Unies et dans ...le Plan d’action global de l’OMS pour la santé mentale 2013–2030. Le treizième programme général de travail 2019–2023 de l’OMS comprend le même indicateur avec une réduction de 15 % à l’horizon 2023.
Le monde n’est pas sur la bonne voie pour atteindre les cibles de la réduction du suicide fixées pour 2030. L’OMS encourage les pays à prendre des mesures pour prévenir le suicide, idéalement par le biais d’une stratégie nationale intégrée de prévention du suicide. Les gouvernements et les communautés peuvent contribuer à la prévention du suicide en mettant en œuvre l’approche LIVE LIFE de l’OMS, dont le but est de servir de base pour commencer la prévention du suicide, et dont ils peuvent s’inspirer pour élaborer une stratégie nationale intégrée de prévention du suicide. Le présent guide s’adresse à tous les pays, qu’ils disposent actuellement ou non d’une stratégie nationale de prévention du suicide.

Avec l’essor des traitements antirétroviraux (TAR) à base de dolutégravir (DTG) pour soigner les personnes vivant avec
le VIH dans le monde, il est important d’estimer la vitesse à laquelle la résistance acquise au DTG apparaît dans les
populations sous TAR. Bien que la résistance au DT...G ne soit pas apparue dans les populations naïves aux TAR incapables
de supprimer la charge virale dans les essais cliniques, certains éléments portent à croire que la résistance au
DTG peut émerger chez les personnes suivant des schémas thérapeutiques incluant le DTG. L’OMS recommande aux
pays qui étendent les TAR incluant le DTG d’accompagner ce déploiement d’une surveillance en routine de la pharmacorésistance
