The project aims to provide health and nutrition education through 4 Poshan videos in 18 Indian languages. The Poshan videos are produced by the Go...vernment of India and UNICEF, with pro bono services of Aamir Khan, and they reinforce the following key messages:
Expecting mothers should get the correct diet and quarter portions more than usual
Mother's first milk is the best, don't throw it away and make sure the child gets it.
For the first six months the child should only be fed mother's milk and nothing else, not even water.
When the child enters the seventh month, balance mother's milk with a nutritious diversified diet.
The videos addresses the importance of balanced nutrition and health and are available in 18 languages.

FANTA provided technical support to Haiti’s Ministry of Public Health and Population for the development of national guidelines and an accompanyi...ng flipchart, which provide practical solutions to nutrition problems for people living with HIV, as well as guidance on nutritionally managing the symptoms of HIV, the side effects of antiretroviral drugs, and opportunistic infections. The guidelines provide recommendations for well-balanced diets for people living with HIV, along with instructions for quality nutrition counseling of adolescents and adults living with HIV, HIV-positive pregnant and lactating women, and caregivers of children exposed to HIV. The guidelines also address food insecurity in HIV-affected households.

In order to drive further progress on improving dietary intake and food product improvement, the WHO Regional Office for Europe, Public Health England and the Royal Institute of International Affairs (Chatham House) co-convened a workshop of “first mover” countries in March 2019.

Il met donc l'accent sur des exercices visant à améliorer les compétences en matière de conseil afin d'aider le...s clients à adopter des pratiques nutritionnelles optimales. La nutrition des femmes et l'alimentation des nourrissons dans le contexte du VIH sont également abordées. Des directives permettant de lier la prévention de la malnutrition au traitement via la prise en charge intégrée de la malnutrition aiguë sont également incluses. Cette formation peut également être dispensée aux responsables de la nutrition afin de leur donner les moyens de fournir une supervision de soutien aux agents de santé et aux agents communautaires.
