Le Groupe spécial mondial de lutte contre le choléra (GTFCC) a lancé Mettre fin au choléra :
Une feuille de route mondiale pour 2030 (la Feuille de route mondiale) (1). Cette stratégie vise
à réduire de 90 % le nombre de décès dus au choléra dans le monde et à mettre fin à la
malad...ie dans au moins 20 pays d’ici 2030. Elle est organisée selon trois axes principaux :
• assurer une détection et une réponse précoces pour contenir les épidémies(2) ;
• adopter une approche multisectorielle pour prévenir et contrôler le choléra dans les
points chauds ; et
• mettre en place un mécanisme de coordination efficace de l’appui technique, la
mobilisation des ressources et des partenariats aux niveaux local et mondial.

The specific objectives of the plan are to:
- Scale up evidence-based, cost effective interventions through effective strategies within a HSS approach and pro...vide equitable coverage with quality.
- Reduce neonatal mortality by improved home-based newborn care, early identification of sick newborns and improved access to institutional newborn care of adequate quality.
- Reduce common childhood illness related mortality (due to pneumonia and diarrhoea in all areas and malaria in endemic areas) by improving key family and community practices, community-based early diagnosis and management and referral care for complicated cases.

This situation analysis has gathered information about the current state of AMR, contributing factors and antimicrobial use in Zimbabwe from the human, animal, agricultural and environmental sectors.... Data has been gathered from different sectors such as the general public, academia, the Ministry of Health and Child Care, the Ministry of Agriculture Mechanization and Irrigation Development and the Ministry of Environment, Water and Climate. It shows that AMR is a real concern in Zimbabwe and a threat to the health outcomes of humans, to the economic productivity of the livestock industry and a risk to the environment.
