Ce document propose des listes de contrôle élaborées par l’OMS en matière de communication sur les risques et de participation communautaire (RCCE) pour la préparation et les premières ripostes face au nouveau coronavirus 2019 (2019-nCoV) r...écemment identifié à Wuhan, dans la province du Hubei, en Chine. Il a pour objectif de donner aux pays des conseils pratiques pour la mise en œuvre de stratégies efficaces en matière de RCCE qui contribueront à protéger la santé publique lors des premières phases de la riposte face à un nCoV. Ce document inclut des objectifs et des actions de RCCE recommandés pour les pays qui se préparent à faire face à des cas de nCoV et pour ceux qui ont déjà des cas confirmés d’infection par le 2019-nCoV.

Les fermetures d’écoles et les impacts socio-économiques plus larges du COVID-19 sur les communautés et la société perturbent également les systèmes de soutien normaux des enfants et des jeunes, les rendant plus vulnérables aux maladies et aux risques de protection de l’enfance tels que ...les punitions physiques et humiliantes, la violence sexuelle et basée sur le genre, le mariage d’enfants, le travail des enfants, le trafic et le recrutement d’enfants et leur utilisation dans les conflits armés. Les filles et les autres groupes marginalisés, en particulier ceux vivant en déplacement, sont particulièrement touchés.

Ce modèle de plan de communication est conçu pour donner aux pays une idée générale des activités de communication à considérer lorsqu'ils préparent l'introduction des vaccins contre la COVID-19. Le tableau ci-dessous doit être complété, avec un plan de communication narratif fournissant... des orientations et comprenant les objectifs stratégiques, les publics cibles, etc. Les pays peuvent adapter ce modèle au contexte local et y ajouter des activités en fonction du contexte national.

Le présent guide opérationnel sert de feuille de route pour la surveillance et les interventions en matière de mortalité maternelle et périnatale dans les milieux cliniques et politiques, comme décrit dans les deux guides de référence de l’Organisation mondiale de la santé (OMS) intitulé...s : Surveillance des décès maternels et riposte – Directives techniques – Prévention des décès maternels – Informations au service de l’action («Guide SDMR», 2013) et Pour que chaque enfant compte : audit et examens des mortinaissances et des décès néonatals» (2016).
Ces deux guides proposent des approches fondées sur l’utilisation de données de qualité sur les soins de santé pour mettre un terme aux décès maternels, aux mortinaissances et aux décès néonatals évitables.
