He also claimed the country’s collapsed pharmaceutical industry would be able to produce both a treatment and a cure for coronavirus – neither of which exist.
He recommended to the nation a homemade “cure” promoted by one Venezuelan, one “given to us by our ancestors: pepper, lemon grass, honey and ginger”.
Although the World Health Organisation advises that only people suffering respiratory problems should wear masks, Maduro decreed: “No one can walk the streets without a mask.”

Eles também podem ser implantados dentro de estruturas fechadas alternativas usando módulos pré-fabricados. Unidades de Saúde de Emergência para SRAG podem oferecer até 30 leitos para pacientes críticos ou gravemente doentes (10 leitos para casos críticos com suspeita de COVID-19, 10 leitos para casos críticos com COVID-19 confirmada, e 10 leitos para casos graves). Unidades de Saúde de Emergência para SRAG possuem um centro de comando para a coordenação das operações do dia a dia. The Report, Todos y todas sin excepción, produced by the Global Education Monitoring (GEM) Report and the Regional Bureau for Education in Latin America and the Caribbean (OREALC /UNESCO Santiago), along with the Laboratory of Education, Research and Innovation in... Latin America and the Caribbean (SUMMA) shows that, prior to the pandemic, in 21 countries, children from the richest households were five times as likely as the poorest to complete upper secondary school.
Learning outcomes were low before COVID-19. Only half of 15-year-olds achieved minimum proficiency in reading. In Guatemala and Panama, barely 10 disadvantaged 15-year-old students master basic mathematics skills for every 100 of their better-off peers. Indigenous people and Afro-descendants also have lower attainment and literacy rates.
The report includes a set of key recommendations for the next decade, which will help countries achieve the objectives of the 2030 Agenda and calls for schools to be more inclusive, which many still are not.

While Rwanda remained Ebola-free during the outbreak, it remains a priority country and continues to maintain its Ebola preparedness. Rwanda is also home to 147,000 refugees, half of whom are children, who require assistance in and outside of camps.1 In 2021, UNICEF will continue to deliver life-saving services to refugees and children and families affected by COVID-19 and its socio-economic impacts, and maintain its Ebola preparedness and contingency planning.

Para evitar aglomeraciones y una saturación en el sistema de salud, el G...obierno Nacional (Decreto Ejecutivo No. 1217 / 21 diciembre 2020) declaró el estado de excepción en el territorio nacional, restringiendo la movilidad y el uso de espacios públicos, así como estableciendo un toque de queda.
A pesar de estas restricciones a la movilidad, los refugiados y migrantes continuaron ingresando a Ecuador por pasos irregulares. Se reporta un incremento de ingresos irregulares por la frontera de Tulcán: en el mes de diciembre, hubo entre 350-400 personas ingresando diariamente durante el período de monitoreo (4 horas diarias). Esto representa un incremento del 35% si se lo compara con los ingresos reportados en noviembre.
