Elle couvre les six premières années du plan d’action pour la santé de l’après-2015, c’est-à-dire la période 2016-2021, en s’appuyant sur le document Prévention et lutte contre l’hépatite virale : cadre pour l’action mondiale et sur deux résolutions relatives à l’hépatite virale adoptées par l’Assemblée mondiale de la Santé en 2010 et en 2014.
Cette stratégie porte sur les cinq virus de l’hépatite (les hépatites A, B, C, D et E), en mettant plus spécialement l’accent sur les hépatites B et C en raison de la lourde charge relative qu’elles représentent pour la santé publique.

Au Burkina Faso, les personnes vivant avec le VIH (PvVIH) ont régulièrement recours à des substances naturelles pour traiter certaines infections opportunistes. C’est ainsi que le suc des feuilles fraîches de Mitracarpus scaber Zucc. ex Schult. & Schult. f. (Rubiaceae) et de Senna alata (L.) R...oxb. (Fabaceae) sont utilisés comme antimycosiques. En ce qui concerne le zona et les poussées herpétiques, les feuilles fraîches de Phyllanthus amarus Schumach. & Thonn. (Euphorbiaceae), la sève de Mangifera indica L. (Anacardiaceae), le gel de Aloe buettneri Berger (Liliaceae) et la galle de Guiera senegalensis J.F. Gmel. (Combretaceae), sont les drogues végétales les plus utilisées. Des substances naturelles sont également recommandées par les tradipraticiens de santé pour la récupération immunologique et nutritionnelle, le traitement précoce de l’infection à VIH et la réduction des effets secondaires des traitements ARV (antirétroviral). Il s’agit respectivement pour les plus importantes d’entre elles, des feuilles de Moringa oleifera Lam. (Moringaceae), de la pulpe du fruit de Detarium microcarpum Guill. & Perr. (Fabaceae), de la spiruline et du pollen issu de la ruche.
Les substances naturelles pouvant avoir une interaction avec les traitements conventionnels et plus particulièrement avec les médicaments ARV, les plantes contenant des tanins catéchiques, des dérivés 1,8 hydroxyanthracéniques laxatifs et des molécules hépatotropes ou inductrices enzymatiques, sont classées à risque, et leur utilisation par les PvVIH est étroitement surveillée.

In 2006, the Special Session of African Union Health Ministers adopted the Maputo Plan of Action for implementing the Continental Policy Framework on sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), which expired at the end of 2015. The goal was fo...r all stakeholders and partners to join forces and re-double efforts, so that together, the effective implementation of the Continental Policy framework including universal access to sexual and reproductive health by 2015 in all countries in Africa can be achieved. The Revised Maputo Plan of Action (MPoA) 2016 – 2030 was subsequently endorsed by the African Union Heads of State at the 27th AU Summit in July 2016 in Kigali, Rwanda. The plan reinforces the call for universal access to comprehensive sexual and reproductive health services in Africa and lays foundation to the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3 and 5, as well as the African Union Agenda 2063.

This Strategic Operating Framework (SOF) has been developed to guide WASH Sector partners in responding to humanitarian needs in Sudan in conjunction with the existing and forthcoming humanitarian response ...>plans (2022 and 2023). This SOF is drafted in consultation with the Strategic Advisory Group (SAG) at the national level and will be revised as the humanitarian situation evolves in line with changes made to the WASH Cluster response plan and other guidance received by the SAG and the Technical Working Groups. However, by adhering to the cluster (Sector) approach, the partners agree to:
Assist the authorities in responding to the WASH needs of the population affected.
Promote a common understanding of the WASH sector needs and interventions in the response context among the WASH partners.
Ensure a well-coordinated response and consequently increase the efficiency, effectiveness, and impact of individual agency responses; and
Align towards common humanitarian principles and operational objectives.
Partners to conform to the broad operational framework outlined in this document. Agencies that breach these guidelines will be expected to provide clear justification to the WASH Sector and other WASH Sector partners through the SAG

Les interventions porteront, principalement, sur les orientations stratégiques déclinées lors de la revue externe. Elles seront axées sur la poursuite d’une stratégie DOTS de qualité, le renforcement des interventions communautaires et la prise en charge des grands défi s (TB/VIH, TBMR, TB de l’enfant et le contrôle de l’infection). Durant cette période, l’implication des prestataires du privé sera accentuée et des stratégies de communication porteuses d’impact seront menées.
L’atteinte des objectifs de ce plan stratégique nécessitera une importante mobilisation de ressources et un plaidoyer fort sera mené auprès de tous les partenaires du secteur santé et en dehors.
