A set of 5 training videos on child mental health created by the Ethiopian Federal Ministry of Health.
The research team produced five short training videos, modelling an HEW interviewing mothers of children with autism or intellectual disability to demonstrate skills in early detection, supportive... counselling and problem solving. The videos are produced in Amharic (the official Ethiopian language) – a version with English transcripts and subtitles is also available.
In addition, a ‘Mental Health Guide’ was produced that reinforces the training provided in the associated HEAT module, and extends training in childhood developmental and mental health problems.

Social network-based HIV testing is an approach for engaging sexual and drug injecting partners and social contacts of key population members with HIV and of those who are HIV-negative and at ongoing risk in voluntary HTS.
By addressing people’s confidentiality concerns and broadening the reach... to social contacts, social network-based HIV testing approaches can improve the acceptability of partner services among key populations and so reach more people who may not otherwise test for HIV. WHO now recommends that social network-based HIV testing approaches can be offered for key populations

Antibiotic resistance (ABR), conservatively calculated, causes more than 500 000 deaths every year. This number is projected to rise dramatically if radical actions are not ta...ken. Lack of effective antibiotics, diagnostics and vaccines threatens the health of millions and hampers fulfilment of several of the Sustainable Development Goals. Access to effective antibiotics should be part of every adult and child’s right to health.
